The Announcements for today Friday, March 12th are as follows:
Students today during lunch we will have our final three planner cover finalists for next year’s agenda on display by the cafeteria for you to vote. Don’t forget to bring your ID so you can participate in voting.
The American Cancer Society is second only to the federal government in funding cancer research. Money raised by Strides Against Breast Cancer are used to heighten community awareness of the disease, support patients and their families, as well as raise money for research. Please join Eisenhower’s National Junior Honor Society as we support these efforts. You can do your part by: Walk with us on April 25. You can pick up registration information in the main office. Buy a Strides Against Breast Cancer t-shirt for $12. Honor a family member of friend by purchasing a spot on Team Eisenhower’s t-shirt. Make a donation to the cause. Donations and orders should be brought to the main office during Channel One or to the Strides Against Breast Cancer table during A and B lunches.
7th Graders interested in being WEB Leaders – this is the last chance pick up a WEB application in the Main Office and return it to the WEB basket located in the Main Office by the end of the day.
8th grade students – Eldorado Cheerleader Tryouts – packets are available in the Main Office. A mandatory meeting will be held on April 5th at 6:30pm in the Eldorado Lecture Hall.
Run and for Walk for the Zoo – student registration is only $10.00 and you get a shirt, you get to walk or run and you get admission into the zoo on the day of the race and lots more. The run and walk is Sunday, May 2, 2010. You can get registration forms from the Main Office or download off the EMS website. Turn in your completed registration form and money to Mrs. Hunter by April 1st. Lets be the #1 middle school in New Mexico.
Staff & students - Join us as we dedicate our new gymnasium and be a part of the Eisenhower Middle School Walk of Fame. The PTA is engraving bricks for just $25. The bricks will then be placed outside our new gym. Order your engraved brick today to honor your favorite person! This is a wonderful opportunity for staff and students alike.
Staff this is a reminder that the PTA will be providing lunch in the Main Lounge.
If you have lunch detention and need to order lunch please visit with Mrs. Fleetwood in room 1 during Channel 1.
Lunch today will be: Pizza, Garden Salad w/dip, Oven Fries, Fruit, Blueberries w/yogurt, Cheese Burritos, Chicken Sandwich, Cheeseburgers, Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Subs w/chips
